OUR STORY

In April 2020, during the height of the pandemic, inspired with the gospel, we began weekly street evangelism, feeding those living out of cars, tents, supporting the homeless and their children. As we organized, we recognized the need to REACH out like never before. To make an IMPACT, particularly in the lives of the younger generation . . .

In 2023, Hope for Hawaii Youth was ignited by a small group of outreach volunteers. With a heart for helping, we began by reaching out to youth and families facing tough circumstances. As our impact grew, we extended our efforts to homeless shelters and low-income housing, offering hope and support to even more in need. The goal was simple: plant seeds of hope and possibility, and HAVE FUN! What began as simple on-site activities for a few children soon flourished into a vibrant series of joyful excursions, cultural experiences, and educational field trips. Each of these experiences became thoughtfully planned to expand horizons.

Hope for Hawaii Youth is committed to creating pathways for our youth to flourish, building on the Foundation of HOPE as they discover their unique strengths and passions. We cultivate a generation of leaders who not only transform their own lives even in the face of adversity, but also light up their communities with ALOHA, innovation and cultural pride. Together, we're shaping a brighter, more vibrant Hawaii—one youth at a time.
